Abstract:
      Alumina concentration distribution in typical areas of 400 kA aluminum reduction cell was studied. The results show that alumina concentrations have big fluctuation at different time points in different areas of aluminum reduction cell, and the closer to the end position, the denser the alumina concentrations is. Alumina concentrations show a trend of reduction first and increase the later, the maximum value appears near the two end position, and the minimum value appears in the middle of cell. Alumina concentrations have the similarity distribution curve of symmetric position in input side and output side, and alumina concentration in output side is higher than that of symmetric position in input side. Alumina concentration can maintain a large proportion between 1.00%~2.00%, and control of low alumina concentration is realized.
