Abstract:
Gold was extracted from gold mud by process of sodium chlorate leaching and sodium sulfite reduction. The effects of sodium chlorate dosage, hydrochloric acid dosage, leaching time, leaching temperature and sulfuric acid dosage on gold leaching rate and effect of potential on gold reduction rate were investigated. The results show that gold leaching rate is 98.5% above under the optimum conditions including ratio of liquid to solid of 2︰1, sodium chlorate dosage of 5% of mass of ore, hydrochloric acid of 1 mol/L, time of 1 h, temperature of 85 ℃, and dosage of sulfuric acid of 40 g/L. Gold reduction rate and gold grade in gold powder is 97% and 68.5% above respectively by controlling potential at 600~700 mV.
