Abstract:
Test of roasting-acid leaching for one high sulfur and copper-cobalt bearing sulfur concentrate was carried out to recover copper and cobalt. The results show that leaching rate of copper, cobalt and zinc is 88.08%, 72.40% and 100% respectively under the conditions of 25% mass fraction of calcining sand and total sulfur content of 30% of feeding. Iron grade in acid leaching residue is 65.12%. Copper is recovered from lixivium by extraction. Iron is removed from raffinate by oxidation, and cobalt-enriched slag is obtained from iron-removal solution by precipitation.
