Abstract:
Effect and mechanism of Na2SO4 seed and H2O2 addition on enhanced salt discharge of evaporation of high-sulfur seeded precipitation spent liquor were investigated. The results show that salts discharging can be promoted by adding H2O2 and Na2SO4. Salting-out rate of sodium carbonate and sulfosalt rises with increase of adding volume of H2O2 and Na2SO4. Brine rate of high-sulfur seeded precipitation spent liquor rises to 73% with addition of 4.5g/L Na2SO4. Brine rate high-sulfur seeded precipitation spent liquor rises from 59.23% to 67.96% with addition of 6 mL H2O2. Upon adding 4.5 g/L Na2SO4 together with 6 mL H2O2 into solution, brine rate is 78.26%, viscosity of solution drops obviously, and salting-out rate of NaAlO2 also drops. Compared with salt residue from original solution, Na6CO3(SO4)2 is separated from salt residue with addition of Na2SO4 or and H2O2, and composition of salt residue changes greatly.
