Abstract:
      High-capacity LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2 lithium ion battery cathode material precursor was synthesized by sintering technique mixed with LiOH and Ni0.5Co0.2Mn0.3(OH)2 prepared by Co-precipitation Method in a certain proportion. Electrochemical properties of LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2 were investigated. The results indicate that the prepared battery has excellent electrochemical performances at 2.8~4.3 V (vs. Li/Li ). The initial coulombic efficiency is 88.4% at 0.1C rate. The capacity retention after100 cycles is 96.6% at 1C rate with specific capacity of 157.7 mAh/g.
