| Abstract: |
| To address big consumption of copper powder, process backlog, and reduce production capacity of Caldor Furnaces during copper powder replacement process of silver electrolysis solution, novel process of “EMWE- neutralization precipitation” was proposed. After two-stage EMWE, concentration of silver ions in electrolyte drops from 83 g/L to 2.8 g/L, copper ion concentration remains unchanged at about of 14 g/L, and purity of electrodeposited silver powder is 99.9% above. Crude silver powder can be returned to process of sliver electrolyte preparation. After neutralization treatment, tail solution can be directly delivered to environmental protection workshop, and neutralization residue can be returned to anode mud acid leaching process. |
