Abstract:
Effects of raw materials ratio, reduction temperature and ratio of solid to liquid on reduction of Fe2O3 were investigated in special high-pressure reactor for 4 h applying cellulose and starch as reductant respectively. Microstructure and phase composition of the reduction products under different reduction conditions were analyzed by XRD and SEM. The results show that the highest reduction rate is 97% under the conditions including mass ratio of Fe2O3 powder, sodium hydroxide, and starch dosage of 50%, 25%, and 25%, temperature of 310 ℃, ratio of solid to liquid of 3︰20, and stirring speed of 420 r/min.
