| Abstract: |
| Production method and process of laser grade europium oxide by P507 complete extraction separation method with samarium, europium, gadolinium enrichment as raw materials were described and compared with traditional zinc powder reduction-extraction separation method. The advantages of direct extraction separation and development direction of high purity europium oxide production were put forward. The results show that direct extraction separation method can eliminate zinc powder reduction process, which has the disadvantages of large slag quantity, serious heavy metal waste liquid pollution, and large potential safety hazards of hydrogen. At the same time, it has many advantages including continuous production, convenient operation control and low production cost. Production cost of per ton of europium oxide can be reduced by nearly 50 000 Yuan RMB by direct extraction separation method. |
