| Abstract: |
| Orthogonal test was applied to investigate extraction performance of scandium in red mud curing leaching solution. Scandium enrichment was prepared by secondary stripping. The results show that scandium extraction rate is 99.27% under the optimum conditions including P204 concentration of 10%, O/A=1/15 and extraction time of 5 min. Stripping rate of Sc with 2.5 mol/L NaOH as stripping agent is 98.34% under the conditions including O/A=1/1.5, stripping time of 10 min, reaction temperature from 95 ℃ to slight boiling of water phase, and stripping frequency of twice. The obtained initial enrichment with Sc content of 0.86% can be used to produce high-purity scandium oxide products. |
