Abstract:
Oxidative roasting-reduction smelting tests were carried out on high copper & arsenic gold concentrate. The results show that calcine produced by oxidizing roasting of gold concentrate at 800 ℃ for 2 h was reduction smelted at 1 450 ℃ for 60 min with addition of 35% of SiO2 and 8% of anthracite. Copper recovery is 95.70% and gold recovery is 99.62%. Sulfur and arsenic are mainly concentrated in alloy during reduction smelting process.
