| Abstract: |
| Main trends and content distribution of arsenic in nonferrous metallurgy were introduced. Four main methods for comprehensive treatment of arsenic-bear materials at present stage were summarized, including pyrometallurgical roasting, hydrometallurgical leaching, pyrometallurgical roasting and hydrometallurgical leaching, and biological oxidation pretreatment. Advantages and disadvantages of the above four methods were comparatively analyzed. The results show that arsenic removal by hydrometallurgical leaching and biological oxidation pretreatment is applied in practical production due to its advantages of simple process, mild operating conditions, less energy consumption and environmental protection. Development trend to remove arsenic from arsenic-bearing materials in nonferrous metallurgy is proposed. |
