Abstract:
Effects of addition of different Fe2+ concentrations on uranium leaching were studied with refractory uranium ore as raw materials. Under the same leaching conditions and leaching period of 84 h, uranium leaching rates are 48.13%, 61.44%, 66.12% and 62.38% respectively with Fe2+ addition of 0, 3, 5 and 9 g/L. The highest uranium leaching rate is obtained with Fe2+ concentration of 5 g/L. Higher leaching rate of uranium can be obtained by controlling addition of appropriate Fe2+.
