Abstract:
Gold concentrates obtained by flotation from a foreign concentrator, in which the impurity elements arsenic, sulfur and iron were mainly present in form of arsenopyrite and pyrite, and most of gold was encapsulated in sulfide. Gold direct cyanide leaching rate was only 70.89%. Acidic hot-pressure oxidative leaching was selected after comparing gold leaching rates of three different pretreatment methods, i.e, alkali leaching, fine grinding and hot-pressing oxidation. Gold cyanidation leaching rate is 97.49% after pretreatment under the optimum conditions including oxidation pulp concentration of 20%, oxygen partial pressure of 0.7 MPa, stirring speed of 600 r/ min, temperature of 160 ℃, and oxidation time of 3 h.
