Abstract:
Gold recovery from antimony-bearing refractory gold concentrate by alkali pretreatment, pressure oxidation and cyanidation was studied. Effects of pretreatment alkali concentration, leaching time and temperature on antimony removal rate were discussed. Effects of slurry concentration, oxygen partial pressure, reaction temperature and reaction time on sulfur oxidation rate from pressure oxidation slag were investigated. The results show that removal rate of antimony is 95% under the optimum conditions including concentrate fineness of -0.045 mm>80%, NaOH concentration of 50 g/L, leaching time of 3 h, leaching temperature of 90 ℃, and L/S=4/1. Sulfur oxidation rate is 97.12% under the optimum conditions including slurry concentration of 40%, oxygen partial pressure of 0.7~0.8 MPa, temperature of 200 ℃, and reaction time of 30 min. Gold leaching rate is 95% above after pressure oxidation and cyanidation.
