| Abstract: |
| Scandium and tungsten in Sc-bearing black tungsten concentrate can be separated effectively by acid hydrolysis. Scandium leaching rate is 95% above under the optimum acidolysis conditions including particle size of concentrate of -48 μm, concentration of hydrochloric acid of 9 mol/L, and acidolysis time of 5 h. Scandium extraction rate from acidolysis solution with 12% P204 + kerosene (O/A=1/5) + 4% octanol for 5 min is 95% above. Scandium in rich Sc organic phase can be further enriched after iron removing by reverse acid washing. Scandium stripping rate from Sc enriched organic phase by 2.5 mol/L NaOH is 99.90% under the conditions including O/A=5 and stripping time of 5 min. |
