| Abstract: |
| With the rapid economic development of energy demand, current exploitation of hard-rock type uranium deposits in south China greatly drops, and sandstone type uranium deposits become a main supply. The main extraction method of sandstone type uranium ore is in-situ leaching, which can be divided into acid leaching, alkali leaching, neutral leaching, and biological leaching according to leaching agents. Characteristics of sandstone type uranium ores are described, advantages and application conditions of various leaching methods are summarized, leaching mechanism is briefly overviewed, and development prospect of sandstone type uranium ore mining is put forward. |
