| Abstract: |
| Al-Sr alloy was directly prepared by fused salt electrolysis process applying combined electrodes. Chlorine gas separated from anode smoothly escaped, and cathode and anode leading wires were well protected, so that electrolysis process could proceed smoothly. Electrolysis is carried out at 750 ℃, DK=1.0 A/cm2, electrolyte ratio (SrCl2 70%, KCl 25%, SrF2 5%), and polar distance of 4.0 cm. The cathode product Al-Sr alloy contains Sr 10% and both Ca and Fe of 0.1% below. The current efficiency is 82.6 %, DC power consumption is 998 kWh/t, and production cost is 25 022 RMB/t. |
