Abstract:
Purification and recycling of mercury from acid mud of copper smelting by method of atmospheric leaching and reducing enrichment were investigated with NaClO and HNO3 mixed solution as leaching agent. The results show that Hg leaching rate is 93.6% above under the optimum leaching conditions including ratio of liquid to solid of 5 mL/g, stirring rate of 500 r/min, leaching temperature of 20 ℃, leaching time of 30 min, and volume ratio of HNO3 to NaClO of 4︰1. After addition of 0.1% volume ratio of 10% NaH2PO2 to lixivium, Hg content in enrichment slag is 20.6% which can serve as materials to prepare mercury.
