Abstract:
Valuable metals were recovered by reduction smelting process from spent hydrodesulphurization catalysts produced in refining hydrodesulphurization process of heavy oil in petrochemical industry. The results show that recovery of Mo, Co, Ni and V calculated by slag is 98.54%, 96.51%, 99.47% and 37.41%, respectively under the conditions including addition of SiO2, B2O3, CaO, Na2CO3, copper matte, lignite, and CaF2 of 40%, 10%, 29%, 80%, 100%, 5%, and 5%, respectively, temperature of 1 450 ℃, and smelting time of 3 h.
