Abstract:
Current status and distribution characteristics of atmospheric emission of arsenic from copper smelting industry in 2017 in China were investigated by proportional coefficient method. The national total atmospheric emission of arsenic from copper smelting industry in 2017 is about 26.344 t. Anhui province and Yunnan province are identified as the top emission regions while the main emission regions include Anhui, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Shandong, Gansu and Inner Mongolia. Within copper smelting enterprises, bath smelting process shows higher arsenic emission to air than other production processes, and the atmospheric emission of arsenic per unit yield of copper is obviously higher than that of Flash Smelting process and Double Flash Smelting process.
