Abstract:
Effects of pH value, phase ratio, extractant Mextral 984H concentration and extraction time on extraction rates of vanadium and impurity ions such as iron, aluminum, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus in Mextral 984H chelating extraction system were investigated. The results show that the first-stage extraction rate of vanadium in simulated acid leaching solution is 79.43%, the two-stage extraction rate is 99.06% and extraction rates of iron, aluminum, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus are all less than 2%, under the optimum conditions including pH value of feed solution of 1.0, extraction time of 20 min, phase ratio of O/A=1/2, extractant Mextral 984H concentration of 20%, and sulfonated kerosene as diluent. Mextral 984H can extract V(Ⅴ) by chelating together with hydroxyl and oxime group. Efficient separation of vanadium from high acid multi-impurity leachate of shale is achieved.
