| Abstract: |
| Composition of high fluorine content beryllium ore is complex, among which impurities such as fluorine, phosphorus, silicon, aluminum and iron have big influence on quality of beryllium oxide in traditional process. During extraction process of beryllium oxide production with P204 as extractant, anions such as fluorine, silicon and phosphorus in solution are not extracted. Applying extraction sequence of cations in P204, iron was reduced to ferric iron, and co-extraction of aluminum and iron with beryllium was reduced in reducing atmosphere. Complexation of fluorine and aluminum in high fluorine content beryllium ore can inhibit extraction of aluminum, and aluminum and iron extracted into organic phase can be basically removed after washing. Qualified industrial beryllium oxide is obtained from washed organic phase by stripping, hydrolytic precipitation and calcining. |
