Abstract:
Taking oxalic acid leachate of vanadium-bearing shale as the object, speciation state of vanadium and aluminum in oxalic acid leachate of vanadium-bearing shale were studied. Speciation state of vanadium and aluminum in oxalic acid system were preliminarily determined through Medusa software simulation. Then, the loaded organic phase of vanadium and aluminum were studied by infrared spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The results show that extractable complex of vanadium-loaded organic phase is [(R4N)2?VO(C2O4)2], and that of aluminum-loaded organic phase is [(R4N)?Al(C2O4)2] and [(R4N)3?Al(C2O4)3], respectively. Therefore, speciation state of vanadium and impurity aluminum in oxalic acid leachate can be determined, vanadium exists in form of VO(C2O4)22- complex anion, while the aluminum exists simultaneously as Al(C2O4)2- and Al(C2O4)33-.
