Abstract:
Cyanide tailings were treated with decyanation and then arsenic fixation experiments were conducted. Effects of ferric sulfate dosage, reaction time and initial pH value of slurry on arsenic fixation were investigated. The results show that the optimum arsenic fixation conditions include ferrous sulfate dosage of 110 kg/t, reaction time of two hours, and initial pH value of slurry of 12. Leaching toxicity test of solid arsenic slag obtained under these conditions is carried out. The results show that arsenic content in leaching solution is 0.32 mg/L and can be disposed in tailings pond.
