| Abstract: |
| Secondary resources are key to solve contradiction between supply and demand of resources, and energy saving and emission reduction. Technical status of main secondary resources recycling was summarized and future development was prospected. Metal recycling was started much later in China compared with that in developed countries. There are significant gap in recovery channel, recycling rate and technologies and equipment between China and developed countries. For example, Umicore Company in Belgium applies Ausmelt technology to treat copper concentrate combined with dozens of secondary resources and hazardous wastes. FRHC technology developed by La Farga Lacambra Spain can direct produce low oxygen containing copper rod by high grade copper scraps. In these fields, China just starts demonstration tests and without firm hold of technology and equipment. In the future, co-smelting with primary and secondary resources, complex smelting and harmlessness by high temperature melting are the main trends. |
