| Abstract: |
| Nickel sulfide concentrate produced from copper-nickel ore in Zambia by flotation was treated by pressure hydrometallurgy. Leaching behaviors of nickel, copper and iron were studied. Effects of leaching temperature, sulfuric acid dosage, oxygen partial pressure, L/S and reaction time were investigated. Leaching rate of nickel and copper are both 99.5% above under the optimum conditions including temperature of 200℃, sulfuric acid dosage of 100 kg/t, oxygen partial pressure of 0.5 MPa, L/S=4/1, and reaction time of 3 h. Nickel extraction rises with increase of leaching temperature and oxygen partial pressure. It is feasible to leach nickel in a relatively shorter time under higher temperature and oxygen partial pressure. Leaching rate of nickel is about 99% after only 1.5 h with oxygen partial pressure rising to 0.8 MPa. |
