Abstract:
Effects of vulcanizing agent, i.e. pyrite concentrate, on secondary volatilization enrichment of germanium resources in germanium-bearing lignite dust of cyclone furnace were investigated. Mechanism of secondary volatilization enrichment of germanium-bearing dust was analyzed by adopting HSC software combining microstructures and TG-DTG analysis. The results show that germanium content in dust drops with the increase of dosage of vulcanizing agent, vulcanization temperature, and reaction time. Average germanium content in secondary dust is 15.22%, germanium volatilization rate is 91.82%, and secondary enrichment of germanium in low-grade germanium-bearing dust is realized under the conditions including dosage of sulfide pyrite concentrate of 20%, reaction temperature of 1 200 ℃, and reaction time of 6 h.
