Abstract:
Comprehensive recovery of Cu and Au from a copper-oxide gold mine was studied under condition of high sodium cyanide and alkali. The results show that gold leaching rate is 89.67% with charcoal gold grade of 313.20 g/t and copper grade of 1 304.48 g/t under the conditions including ore fineness of -0.074 mm of 93.54%, sodium cyanide concentration of 1 000 mg/L, pulp density of 40.00%, leaching time of 48 h, and carbon dosage of 10 g/L. Cyanide recovery is 99% above and copper grade in copper concentrate is 60% above from CIL poor liquid by acidification process.
