Abstract:
Neutral leaching residue of zinc calcine was tested by low acid leaching and flocculation settling of leaching slurry. Effects of leaching time, L/S, and temperature on low acid leaching and flocculation settling were investigated. In order to simulate industrial production, low acid leaching experiments were carried out with neutral leaching underflow and waste electrolyte. Zinc in slag is 20.67%, slag rate of low acid leaching is 46%, and zinc leaching rate is 79.63% under the optimum leaching conditions including leaching temperature of 85 ℃, leaching time of 4 h, and consumption of waste electrolyte for 1 m3 neutral leaching underflow of 0.84-0.96 m3.
