Abstract:
Ferronickel slag has high recovery value due to its large amount production and magnesium enrichment. Based on composition and mineral phase structure of ferronickel slag, rules and influencing factors for Mg leaching reaction between ferronickel slag and sulfuric acid solution were studied under atmospheric pressure. The experimental results show that Mg leaching rate is 83.73% under the conditions including L/D=20/1, leaching temperature of 180 ℃, leaching time of 120 min, and mass fraction of sulfuric acid of 80%. Kinetic analysis shows that leaching reaction is controlled by interfacial chemical reaction with apparent activation energy of 12.72 kJ/mol.
