| Abstract: |
| Electrolyte temperature affects cell voltage, electrolyte conductivity, current efficiency, and cathode copper surface quality, and it is one of the key parameters of copper electrolysis. Traditional mercury thermometer or contact thermometer relys on manual detection and record temperature of electrolyte in each electrolytic cell, and has the characteristics of large workload, low efficiency, and none real-time online monitoring. Temperature measurement with distribution optical fiber is for the first time applied to measure electrolyte temperature in Zijin Copper Industry Co., Ltd, which can realize real time on-line monitoring, early warning, report form, historical curve recording and other functions of temperature of each electrolysis cell, and indirectly reflect problems of pipeline blockage, channel leakage, and plate replacement failure. |
