Abstract:
Waste water from molybdenum and rhenium production contains oil, heavy metal and high concentration of ammonia nitrogen. Waste water from molybdenum and rhenium production was treated by air flotation, Fenton process, precipitation, ammonia removal, and electrocoagulation. Ammonia nitrogen and COD of waste water is 20~40 g/L and 500~1 000 mg/L respectively. Ammonia nitrogen and COD of effluent is 10 mg/L below and 100 mg/L below respectively, and heavy metal of effluent is 0.5 mg/L below, which meets the requirement of standard of Integrated Waste Water Discharge Standard (GB 8978—1996). This engineering project has the advantages of good treatment effect, stable operation, and good social and environmental benefit.
