| Abstract: |
| Sulfur dioxide electrochemical treatment technology is widely used in many fields with the advantages of almost no chemical reagent, low energy consumption, green and so on, which is of significance to study. Two directions of electrochemical treatment of sulfur dioxide, i.e., electrochemical reduction and electrochemical oxidation, were introduced. Electrochemical reduction method is mainly to reduce sulfur dioxide to sulphur or hydrosulfite. Electrochemical oxidation is mainly applied to oxidize sulfur dioxide into sulfuric acid. Research situation and development trend at home and abroad are systematically introduced. |
