Abstract:
Effects of dosage of sodium thiosulfate, reacting time and temperature on precipitation rate of rhenium and copper in rhenium-bearing waste acid from copper smelting were investigated applying sodium thiosulfate as precipitation reagent. The results show that deep precipitation of rhenium and copper in waste acid is realized and precipitation rate is both 99% above under the optimum conditions including dosage of sodium thiosulfate of 1.15%, reacting time of 140 min, and temperature of 70 ℃. It is feasible to extract and separate valuable components such as copper and rhenium from waste acid.
