Abstract:
Germanium was extracted from zinc hydrometallurgy displacement slag by leaching, extraction, stripping and calcinating. Effects of extraction and stripping conditions on extraction of germanium were investigated. The results show that both extraction rate and stripping rate of germanium are 98% above under the conditions including N235 as extractant, O/A=0.5, molar ratio of tartaric acid to germanium of 5, pH value of extraction system of 2.5, extraction temperature of 25 ℃, and concentration of stripping agent NaOH of 2.5 mol/L, A/O=0.5, stripping temperature of 30 ℃, and stripping time of 15 minutes. After complete hydrolysis of Ge by adjusting pH value of stripping solution of 9 with sulfuric acid, Ge concentrate with Ge grade of 18.26% is obtained by filtration, washing and calcination at high temperature.
