Abstract:
In response to the new process of “jarosite slag activation roasting, acid leaching, ferric removal with phosphoric acid, In and Zn extraction after iron removal” proposed by our research team, this paper focuses on properties and thermal analysis kinetics of iron phosphate filter slag. Chemical composition and phase of filter slag were analyzed and characterized by XRD, IR and TG-DSC. The results show that filter slag is FePO4?2H2O with average diameter of particle size of 12.6 μm. Activation energy of dehydration reaction of iron phosphate hydrate from filter slag is 47.28~52.88 kJ/mol calculated by FWO and KAS iso-conversional methods.
