| Abstract: |
| Sodium alkali desulfurization solution was regenerated by three compartment double cation membrane electrolysis. Effects of current density, total concentration of sodium alkali desulfurizer, pH value of sodium alkali desulfurization solution, electrolysis time, and electrolysis temperature on regeneration process were investigated. The results show that pH value of solution at outlet of cathode chamber and intermediate chamber is 6.72 and 1.65 respectively, current efficiency of sodium ion migration is 85.3%, and unit power consumption is 0.168 kWh/kg under the optimum conditions including current density of 127.8 A/m2, total concentration of sodium alkali desulfurizer of 50 g/L, pH value of sodium alkali desulfurization solution of 5.4, electrolysis time of 4 h, and electrolyte temperature of 60 ℃. |
