| Abstract: |
| Lithium metal was produced from LiCl-KCl molten salt at 653-673 K by molten salt electrolysis. Effects of electrolysis temperature, current density, electrolyte ratio, and inter-electrode distance on current efficiency of lithium metal electrolysis are analyzed. The results show that the optimum electrolysis temperature is 653-673 K, the optimum mass ratio of LiCl-KCl electrolyte is 50%︰50%, and higher current density and pole distance is beneficial to current efficiency. |
