| Abstract: |
| To address strengthen mixing effect through changing gun structure during bottom blowing bath smelting process, molten pool melting furnace unsteady mathematical model of multiphase flow was established by numerical simulation method, and multilayer fence-structure model of oxygen gun was constructed. The calculation results show that oxygen bottom blowing process is cyclical, which can be divided into three procedures, i.e., large bubbles formation, airflow column formation, and airflow breaks through the pool level. Phase diagram, average surface turbulent kinetic energy and average pressure of oxygen gun with/without fence-structure during above mentioned three procedures were comparative analyzed. The results show that oxygen gun with multi-layer fence-structure helps to tighten internal mixing of molten bath. |
