| Abstract: |
| Ammonia leaching solution of waste lithium ion batteries (LIBs) cathode and anode mixture was treated by electro-deposition. Effects of current on recovery of cobalt, lithium, nickel and copper, and distribution rate, phase and micromorphology during electro-deposition were investigated. The results show that recovery rate of cobalt, nickel and copper rises with increase of current, however, lithium recovery is lower in general. Recovery rate of cobalt, nickel, copper and lithium is 98.15%, 99.11%, 99.91% and 15.36%, respectively when current is 1.0 A. Co in obtained metal powders is the highest of 80.71%. Current has little effect on XRD patterns of metal powders. Based on micromorphology of metal powders, higher current is beneficial to reducing particle size of metal powders. |
