| Abstract: |
| Zinc hydrometallurgy process will cause a large amount of smelting waste high-sulfur slag, which contains a large amount of mercury-rich sulfur element. Based on concept of treating waste with waste, high-sulfur slag is used to adsorb mercury in flue gas, and performance of prepared material is characterized by XRD and other methods, physical and chemical properties are analyzed, and adsorption conditions are studied. The results show that high sulfur slag has good adsorption efficiency of 66.28% for elemental mercury at 160 ℃, while high sulfur slag modified by ZnO can reach 85% in simulated atmosphere and temperature conditions. |
