Abstract:
The process to leach manganese and selenium from electrolytic manganese anode slime with acidic ammonium sulfite as reducing agent was studied. Effects of leaching temperature, sulfuric acid concentration, ammonium sulfite dosage and reaction time on leaching rate of manganese and selenium were investigated. The results show that leaching rate of manganese and selenium is 98.78% and 93.94% respectively under the conditions including sulfuric acid concentration of 1.69 mol/L, reaction time of 30 min, leaching temperature of 30 ℃, and reductant dosage of 12.0 g.
