| Abstract: |
| Effects of drying characteristics, briquetting performance, prereduction temperature, reduction time, reducing agent, and quartz content on reduction degree of nickel and zinc volatilization behavior were studied applying Ni-Co enrichment as raw materials. The results show that Ni-Co enrichment can be dried to 10% water content by controlling drying temperature of 120-160 ℃ and drying time of 3-4 h. Briquetting performance of dried Ni-Co enrichment is better, and pellet strength is higher than 0.49 kN when moisture content of material is controlled to be 10%-12%. Reduction degree of nickel is 91.22% under the conditions of prereduction temperature of 900 ℃, reduction time of 3 h, anthracite dosage of 10% and SiO2 dosage of 10% during reduction process. Volatilization rate of zinc is 50%-60%, which is less affected by reduction conditions, and almost all of manganese and magnesium enter reduction calcine. |
