Abstract:
Low-grade pyrolusite was leached in sulfuric acid with leaves of Bambusa Vulgaris as reductant. Effects of sulfuric acid concentration, reaction time, reaction temperature, reductant dosage and L/S on manganese leaching rate were investigated through single-factor experiments. Comprehensive effect of each condition on manganese leaching rate was explored and optimized by response surface method. The results show that sequence of factors on manganese leaching rate is reaction temperature, sulfuric acid concentration, bamboo leaf dosage and reaction time. Manganese leaching rate is 97.47% under the conditions of sulfuric acid concentration of 2.37 mol/L, reaction time of 2.24 h, reaction temperature of 98.5 ℃, Bambusa Vulgaris dosage of 4.97 g, and L/S of 9 mL/g.
