Abstract:
Behaviors of Fe and Mn in process of pressure leaching of copper-cobalt sulfide were studied. The results show that Fe2+ precipitates in forms of hematite, iron sulfate hydroxide and iron sulfate hydroxide hydrate into residue with the initial ferric and acid concentration under the conditions including temperature of 190 ℃, oxygen pressure of 0.6 MPa and reaction time of 2 h. There is no significant correlation between iron concentration and acidity. Under this leaching condition, Mn2+ retains in liquid phase without precipitation.
