| Abstract: |
| For chalcocite ore heap bio-leaching operation pad of Myanmar Letpadaung Copper Mine, industrial practice system of rehandle technical process was established with complete technical guide for purpose of heap bio-leaching performance improvement, including gateview decision, specification definition, process control, performance evaluation, etc. Internal geologic structure of ore heap is reconstructed and followed by improvement of permeability and leaching performance as well as structural stability through proper specified sequential rehandle operation. By implementation of rehandle operation to nine heaps in the pad, average daily leaching productivity is elevated by 0.86–4.09 times, leached copper production is raised by 2 648.38 tones, which can be translated into additional net profit at USD17 739 547. Significant benefits of operation performance and economic effectiveness are gained. |
