| Abstract: |
| Surface water and ground water in the mining area have high salinity and production cost of desalination water is high, which affects utilization of refractory gold resources. Tests on sodium hypochlorite oxidation and cyanidation were conducted for gold extraction from refractory gold ore with high gangue contents by heavy salt water. Effects of NaClO dosage, oxidation time and cyanidation process on gold extraction were investigated. Gold extraction rate rises from 26.8% to 88.1%—97.6% and gold grade of residues drops to 0.07-0.36 g/t after oxidation with sodium hypochlorite of 94.5 kg/t above for 2—4 h. |
