| Abstract: |
| Aiming at treatment of molybdenum contaminated surface water, treatment effect, dynamics and agent consumption of flocculation precipitation and ion exchange method were compared. As for flocculation precipitation method, when dosage of FeCl3 is 0.3 mol/L, molybdenum removal rate is 97.66% and residual Mo concentration is 2.61 μg/L, pH=6.56. Flocculation precipitation reaches equilibrium within 30 min. Cost of FeCl3 and NaOH is 0.52 RMB/m3. As for ion exchange method, when addition of macroporous anion exchange resin is 6.0 g/L in batch adsorption, molybdenum removal rate is 96.41% and residual Mo concentration is 4.017 μg/L. The maximum adsorption capacity is 36.50 μg/g when pH=4.0, when pH=8.02, adsorption capacity is 36.02 μg/g and 1.32% lower than that of the maximum. Adsorption data fit pseudo second order equation and reaches equilibrium within 100 min. Regenerated by 7% NaOH, resin used in adsorption-regeneration cycle for 7 times, its q/q0 keeps between 96.48%-97.65%. In column adsorption, when feed velocity is 12-20 BV/h, breakthrough volume is 103.2-105 BV and saturated volume is 160.6-162.4 BV. Cost of NaOH is 5.42 RMB/m3. Flocculation precipitation method has advantage on kinetics and cost. This study has guiding significance for advanced treatment and process design of molybdenum contaminated surface water. |
