Abstract:
Rock wool-loaded nano zero-valent aluminum (RW-NZVAl) was prepared by liquid phase reduction method and characterized by SEM and XRD. Effects of capacity of RW-NZVAl, pH value of solution, initial concentrations of U(Ⅵ), ratio of solid to liquid, temperature and contact time on removal of U(Ⅵ) were investigated. The results show that RW-NZVAl in solution has an excellent adsorption effect on U(Ⅵ). U(Ⅵ) removal rate is 93.21% in solution and adsorption capacity of U(Ⅵ) is 58.26 mg/g under the conditions including mass ratio of rock wool to nanometer zero-valent aluminum of 4︰1, pH=4.0, initial U(Ⅵ) concentration of 25 mg/L, ratio of solid to liquid of 0.4 g/L, temperature of 25 ℃, and reaction time of 150 min.
