Abstract:
A three-dimensional lithium electrolysis cell electro-thermal field simulation model was established with finite element method, and influence of structure parameters of electrolysis cell on electro-thermal field was investigated. The results show that shortening anode-cathode distance (ACD), increasing anode radius (Ar), cathode thickness (Ct) and cathode height (Ch) can increase current intensity of electrolysis cell while maintaining energy balance. Dimensionless research on above parameters, equation is obtained: CI=30000×(ACD/40)^(-0.24519)×(Ar/150)^0.79291×(Ct/225)^0.09835×(Ch/700)^0.37953. For scale-up design of electrolysis cell, the above equation can be used without complex modeling calculations, thereby saving resources and improving efficiency.
